Wo Ai Ni Beijing...

( Nak lari dari kekalutan calon-mencalon PU12.... jom kita melancong !!! )

This Beijing trip took place in 2005 ....... 20 of us altogether with 13 from Kemaman boarded the Singapore Airlines and six hours later we reached Beijing.

Miss you all.... Beijing Tour Jun 2005

Beijing is the capital of China and the second largest city after Shanghai. It is also a vibrant city of 15 million inhabitants that is rich in culture and history. We had a wonderful experience visiting various historical and famous tourist spots all around Beijing in a week. Muslim tour package brought us to a few old mosques and muslim restaurants mostly of uzbek cuisine.

inside the Forbidden City

Forbidden City Entrance

The Great Wall of China

The Great Wall... top view...

The Summer Palace

We were first brought to the government owned factories of herbs , jade, tea, crystal , pearl, enamel and silk where we could view how those things are made and of course we could purchase them( they are much more expensive here , wait until you get to the shopping complex to shop !! ). Then only we were brought to all those fantastic tourist spots like the Tiannamen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Great Wall, Old Beijing, Acrobatic & Shaolin Show, a few shopping Complexes ( shop till you drop !! ), Beijing Tunnel , Massage parlour and a day was spent in Tianjin another large city in the southeast of Beijing where we visited the heritage market.

The Crystal Ball, Crystal Factory

Yummyyy... makan besar........

Massage..eeeiiiii gelinya kaki.....

The Forbidden City, called Gu Gong in Chinese, was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Now known as the Palace Museum, it is to the north of Tiananmen Square. Rectangular in shape, it is the world's largest palace complex and covers 74 hectares. Surrounded by a six meter deep moat and a ten meter high wall are 9,999 buildings. The wall has a gate on each side. Opposite the Tiananmen Gate, to the north is the Gate of Divine Might (Shenwumen), which faces Jingshan Park. The distance between these two gates is 960 meters, while the distance between the gates in the east and west walls is 750 meters.

Got this name calligraphed in Tianjin, China..... ( Sumayyah )

The Summer Palace is mainly dominated by Longevity Hill (60 m high) and the Kunming Lake. It covers an expanse of 2.9 square kilometers, three quarters of which is water. In its compact 70,000 square meters of building space, one finds a variety of palaces, gardens, and other classical-style architectural structures.

Izzat.... I love this calligraphy

The Great Wall of China, one of the greatest wonders of the world, was enlisted in the World Heritage by UNESCO in 1987. Just like a gigantic dragon, the Great Wall winds up and down across deserts, grasslands, mountains and plateaus, stretching approximately 6,700 kilometers (4,163 miles ) from east to west of China. With a history of more than 2000 years, some of the sections of the great wall are now in ruins or even entirely disappeared. However, it is still one of the most appealing attractions all around the world owing to its architectural grandeur and historical significance.

Tianjin is one of the four municipalities in China. Its name means 'the place where the emperor crossed the river'. In recent years Tianjin has received more and more attention from both tourists at home and abroad due to its numerous travel resources and rich history.

Beijing in 2005 was extremely busy with the 2008 Olympic preparation with a new airport and stadium were still under constructions.

Our Beijing trip was absolutely a trip of a lifetime , full of superb heritage values and full of sweet everlasting memory.............

( I highly recommend you to visit Beijing /China .... AMAT BERBALOI !! )

Di Tianjin yang ramai Islam dekat sejuta , Beijing dalam setengah juta muslims. Pergilah dan bersedia untuk banyak berjalan especially di Tiannamen square dan forbidden city, 6 km berjalan dari pangkal ke hujung. Best :)

zareda,

Akak tak sampai Shanghai , cuma Beijing and Tianjin . Ada pakej yang pergi Beijing dan Shanghai sekali, 4 hari Beijing ,lepas ru diaorag naik keretapi ke Shanghai, spend lagi 2/3 days there. Harga tak jauh beza. Kalau ikut muslim tour makan no problem.Kalau nak puas jalan akak rasa Beijing memang tempat utamanya untuk sight-seeing and shopping.Actually China ni pergi mana pun memang tempat lawatan dan shopping memang amat bagus, it's like the whole country is for tourism.

maklang,

oo macam tu pulak, ni kena pegi ni maklang, mintak kat bos nak melawat projek... memang best !!

neeza,

perasan tak dalam gambar tak de mimi? masa tu mimi baru 2 tahun lebih , kami tinggalkan dia , tak bawak sebab adik akak dah pernah ke Beijing dia bagitau kena jalan banyak , so kami yang besar je pergi, senang nak berjalan.Dalam gambar tu ada yang bawak baby tapi kecik sangat lagi, diaorang dukung je gilir-gilir, bawak stroller pun ok jugak tapi setengah tanah tak rata, tapi baik bawak . Akak pergi 2 kali, kali ke 2 pergi dengan group cikgu pencen dari Perak, ada satu cikgu ni jalan pakai kasut kerja kulit, kaki dia melecet sampai masa balik kena pakai wheel chair sebab tak boleh berjalan dah kesian kat dia, so pergi biar macam pelancong, pakai sneakers je.Yang banyak berjalan tu di Tiannamen dan forbidden city , entrance belah pangkal, bas hanya akan tunggu di hujung istana dan tak de jalan short cut nak ke hujung dan tak de exit tengah-tengah istana , summer palace pun sama tapi taklah sejauh tiannamen/FC .
